The successful candidate will be joining the Sheesha Family as a Graphic Designer.

About the role

We are looking for an organised and creative graphic designer to work with our creative team to plan and edit content according to the marketing messaging and strategy. The graphic designer’s responsibilities include creating graphics to support the content writing team e.g. with banners for articles and the social media team with graphics for Twitter, Telegram, LinkedIn etc.. A part of the role will be to support project partners with their creative assets. Creative thought processes and communication will be a crucial part of this role.

To be successful as a graphic designer you must be able to understand company goals and work creatively to produce the desired product. A good graphic designer should stay up to date with industry trends and tools that will make projects more marketable.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Strong communication with team collaboration and ability to be proactive around blockers and requests
• Critical thinker that can research and problem solve by yourself
• Fast thinker that works autonomously
• Work on a wide range of projects and media, using Illustrator, Photoshop, and other Adobe suite applications.
• Creating graphics to support the Content Writing Team (banners for articles) as well as the Social Media Team (creating graphics for Twitter, Telegram, Linked In and other platforms)
• Visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals.
• Creating pieces like decks and reports that should look unique but maintain Sheesha design standards that will be shared across social media outlets.
• Support internal initiatives with cross-department collaboration.
• Fulfilling last-minute requests from C-Suite for events and other initiatives within the company.
• Staying organized using Monday.com and maintaining file trees that will be accessible to other team members.
• Obtain input from management, ensuring designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, and express ideas accurately
• Work independently and cooperatively to meet deadlines and budget constraints, and schedule project implementation based on workload, which may include five or more simultaneous projects
• Examine existing processes, identify flaws and create solutions to improve design capabilities
• Understanding of marketing best practices.

• Experience with video editing and animation on a basic level.
• UX/UI & web design
• Experience using InDesign
• Digital sticker creation (Telegram)
